Prerna Rathi is a humanitarian practitioner who has worked with the government, non-profit and private sectors to facilitate accountability towards beneficiaries in the U.S., UK, Belgium, Lebanon, Nigeria, Nepal and India for 9 years. Specifically, Prerna’s expertise is in knowledge management, impact analysis, program designing and capacity building processes. Given her strong intercultural and conflict assessment skills, she has proactively provided surge support in emergencies such as the Syrian refugee response, Boko Haram crisis, Nepal earthquake and Kashmir flood relief. Prerna has been applying a peacebuilding lens through participatory research, sustained dialogue and storytelling with refugees and displaced communities. Prerna received her BA in International Studies and Philosophy from American University and MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from LSE. Through these experiences, she is a creative, passionate and motivating team-builder and founded this non-profit, People Beyond Borders.
